    Nice features and the voltage display is a plus! Only draw back is the strap that holds the top on for carrying. If it is not pulled tight, real tight, the top will flop off if using the top handle to pick it up. When picking the box up the side handles are recommended. Aside from that it is exactly what I expected.

    This is my third different box and this box is the best. It's not even close! Lots of features, it's sturdy, and well made. I have a dual purpose, group 27 battery in the box and there's lots of room.

    Added this to the battery on my kayak and it works like a charm. I even had enough room in the box to had my marine battery charger. The usb hooks charge my phone on the water. Looking to add a GoPro soon.

    Great box. Did a few mods to it to place a smart shunt in the lid and a 60ah circuitbreaker. Definitely wired good. Downside is it doesn't come with a 60ah circuit breaker and you need to install and buy separately. They are using 8 and 14 gauge wires. The external post is 3/8. The The internal ones are slightly smaller that connect to the battery. I recommend putting locktight on the internal bolt so it won't back out. No issues with the strap as people have mentioned. You need to carry with both hands anyways. If you are using a 100ah lithium I could you the top handle if you have the strap buckled and tighten.

    I purchased two boxes...one for my inflatable pontoon boat and one for my wife's. I love the box and features...especially the two quick connect/disconnect plugs. These boxes were the perfect solution for our inflatable one-man/woman pontoon boats that we run electric trolling motors on. I modified my boat to add 1 connector at the motor and another at the battery box so I have the choice of using either one depending on my needs. After hours of modifying my boats and testing the motors my motor would not run. Blown Fuses! Why! Maybe I needed heavier gauge wire so therefore I run to my auto parts store and purchase jumper cables, cut the ends off and use and the umbilical cord. Still not working. Extremely frustrated I begin boxing up the boxes to return when I notice something different between the two boxes. My box is cross wired (image 1) from the manufacturer meaning they had the positive and negative cords reversed at the connectors. The wires within the box are too short to cut and re-run so I cross them (image 2) to the correct posts and my problems are fixed. Therefore, with all this said ....check what quality control should have caught prior to shipping. I'm giving 5 stars because love the features of this box.

    The battery was easy to put in box and connect the terminals. It was water resistant for the fact the lid closed over and strapped down. It would keep rain and splashing off the battery, but if submerged water would fill up the box.

    I subtracted 2 stars for the following reasons.

    1. No instructions. Sure, just connect the battery. But it came with screws and some other hardware. No clue as what it's for.
    2. The off switch... not 100% what it does. Just for voltmeter? The trolling motor still works when box is turned off.

    So far it gets the job done. But wish they took the time to explain it to a first grader.

    I’ve used mine for about a month now. I switch between using it for a trolling motor and a solar charger. The voltmeter on the top is enough for me to love it. Having the ability to plug accessories in it as well is a bonus.
    The 3/8 posts were a surprise. I honestly don’t know what they were thinking when they did that. Doing that means I have to modify every pigtail I want to use on it. For me it isn’t a huge deal. Seems I can’t turn around lately without crimping on a connector on something. But for those of you with real lives to live, you might find it more than a little annoying.

    Still, it is a fine box with gadgets and blinking lights. I’d still recommend it. 👍🏽 Helpful? 👇🏽
